Today we'll be looking at tips to help you build that everlasting relationship with your supplier.

 Meet up

This may sound counterintuitive or even a waste of time in this era of instant messaging and social media, however nothing beats a face to face interaction. You can take them out to a dinner or even a simple coffee. Bear in mind when you guys meet up it doesn't have to be strictly business, however it is important to show your passion for making money as your distributor is in the money game as well. By meeting with your distributors they'll be able to put a face and personality to the countless emails and messages they'll be receiving. The fact that you took time out of your day to meet with them will also send a message to the distributor that a relationship with them is something you value, thus they'll be more inclined to make that last minute delivery when you're in need.

Communication Is Key

Building a good relationship requires a lot of communication. Communication is the most important part of any relationship. It is important for your distributor to to know what you're thinking as much as it's important for them to know that their opinions are being considered. An easy way to communicate better is by keeping them in the loop with how business is going so they can give you recommendations and deals on your order, as well as letting them feel more included in the operations of your business making them want to see you succeed.

Show support

No one dislikes that extra supportive friend. You need to be like that supportive friend and show your support to your distributor, whether that be by attending any events they host or by simply recommending them to your friends in your industry. These acts will show that you also want them to succeed and you guys are mutually benefiting from this relationship.
