When running a hospitality business, your mantra should be "make the guests comfortable". Today we will be outlining essentials in a hotel room that will make your guests' stay more comfortable. 

Comfortable furniture 

Having comfortable and well-maintained furniture is key to ensuring the comfort of your guests. You should train your cleaning team to also use a furniture polish like (Mr min furniture polish) on all your leather furniture as this will ensure a cleaner look as well as a longer lifespan for the pieces. 

Centre Table Supplies 

The centre table in the hotel room should have the rate cards of all the activities you can do at the hotel, spa, gym and pool activities as well as brochure of places your guests can visit nearby. This gives your guests a more full experience when visiting your hotel.

Hospitality Tray 

A small tray that is usually found on top of the minibar has all the essentials to make a beverage like sugar sticks, Horlicks, tea bags and coffee sachets. The hospitality tray is made to make the guests feel more comfortable as they can enjoy a hot beverage whenever they want. 

Extra Towels, Pillows and blankets 

Every guest has different wants and needs. Some people are always cold, some are always hot, and some want a separate face towel from the one they use for their bodies. You need to keep extras such as towels, blankets and pillows to ensure the comfort of everyone. You can roll them up and place them in baskets to minimise the space they take up. 

Basic Toiletries 

Your guests will probably bring their own toiletries, however in case they forget you can have things such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, body lotion, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. You can take it further and add a personalised welcome note to make your customer feel extra welcome. 

Ensure your rooms have all of these to ensure your guests can fully enjoy their stay.
